Having gone to the funeral of a close relative last week I confronted the question of what it is that defines our time on earth and how it is that our legacy is determined.

The Koch brothers are the Leftist media’s arch enemies. Because they donate money to free market think tanks, media coverage routinely vilifies them. If Satan got the kind of negative press the Koch brothers do, even Satanists would abandon him.

Old Hollywood, which was owned and operated by foreign-born or first generation European Jews had aspirations. What may surprise some is that these aspirations did not usually include Art (note that capital “A”).
The aspirations — or the absence of low behavior — came about in part because of the Hayes Code and the Catholic League, both of which insisted that Hollywood movies refrain from sullying innocent youth and womanhood.

When Obama came into power over four years ago, I knew it was the opening volley of the destruction of much of what America holds dear. One of the first things he did was attack NASA. People may have forgotten the layoffs and changes in NASA. I haven’t. Obama has overseen the Islamization of NASA with instructions to run a Mohammedan outreach program. He cut the Constellation program, intended to develop new rockets to carry people into space and the space shuttle program was mothballed — with a special dissing of Texas because they bucked Obama’s EPA mandates. Stellar thuggery

Florida Governor Rick Scott´s reversal on Obamacare is going to hurt more than his political career. According to the Florida Medical Association, a doctors advocacy group, the Governor´s recent action in recommending to offer Medicaid coverage to an additional 1 million Floridians — as part of Obamacare, an already existent shortage of doctors is about to get much worse.

Last June, Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of the City of New York announced his plans to implement a ban on large sodas and other sugary drinks in virtually every place but the home. His administration is banning the sale of these beverages in containers that are more than 16-fluid ounces. Bloomberg has already implemented a ban on trans fats in NYC restaurants, and a rule that fast food and other chain restaurants publicly post the number of calories in their meals and a few weeks after this announcement ordered ordered city hospitals to lock up the baby formula pushing new mothers

The traditional family is the bedrock of civilization, and true conservatives understand that. Once you abandon the most fundamental of institutions for a societal fad, then you only accelerate the downward spiral into societal, moral, and cultural collapse. Once you have surrendered the culture wars and start to embrace the mainstreaming of homosexuality, abortion on demand, and amnesty for illegal aliens I contend than you no longer can be accurately described as a conservative.

The Massachusetts Department of Education has issued a new directive for schools in the handling of transgendered students, including allowing them to use whichever restroom they choose.
“Transgender students who are uncomfortable using a sex-segregated restroom should be provided with a safe and adequate alternative, such as a single ‘unisex’ restroom or the nurse’s restroom,” the 11-page directive reads...

Yesterday, I received word of some horrible bombings by Islamic militants in India. 13 were killed and 70 were injured. Not a peep of this on the news. Islam is cutting a bloody swath across the planet and the media is giving us shiny things to chase after as distractions. So much for Peace be Upon Him and all that. Jihadists are murdering innocent Hindus and no one seems to care.
Then, even more comes to light as 4 are killed in Bangladesh in a violent ‘Bloggers Riot‘:

The Farmington Diner, across the road from Hippach Field and adjacent to Georgie’s Famous Hot Dog Stand, was a feature of my distant youth. In October 1957 it was the scene of the famous Farmington Diner Horror in which I figured as victim. In those days the diner was the sole locale for Farmington’s night life, which ended at 11:30 pm, when it closed. I had stopped late one night to buy a pizza, having lubricated my liver with about a gallon of beer. On my way out Ron Pratt waylaid me to perpetrate an atrocity of unparalleled malice.

Commentary and video that address whether Barack Obama systemically picks people for national security and foreign policy posts who fill some ideological need of his but who do not serve the best interests of the American people!
The same people for who Democratic members of Congress consistently vote to confirm by putting their own political power ahead of country!

Yup. You read that right. I am not a Ted Cruz fan. I should be. He’s young, conservative, and courageous. Although new to the United States Senate, he was unafraid of rigid collegiality rules and, instead, interrogated Hagel the way a good lawyer or a good Senator should. After all, although a president is entitled to his own advisers, the fact that those advisers have to pass Senate review should mean something — and Cruz made sure it did.

Barack Obama is warning America of the devastation that the sequester will visit upon the country
And soon we’re likely to hear that global warming will accelerate and comets will strike the Earth if Republicans don’t acquiesce to Obama’s demands for more taxes. He has hinted that planes will fall from the sky
He has been lying about the sequester since the debates. The sequester was Obama’s team’s idea. For all the tough talk, Obama is afraid. He is afraid that the sequester will come to pass and no one will notice.

Let’s set the parameters, before you read this article. First and foremost, I am a firm believer in gun control. A good site picture, a steady hand, timed breathing, and a smooth trigger squeeze all contribute to gun control and a tight grouping on your target. Being unfamiliar with your weapon or deficient on any of these components will mean poor gun control and imprecise shooting, which is a waste of ammunition.
We all have different views on gun control. Most of the readers believe in the ability of the individual to defend himself against home intruders, strong arm thugs, and

First of all, there is no such thing as an "assault weapon." But, despite that fact, when half-wit leftists try to define what an "assault weapon" is, all they really end up doing is describing what such a weapon looks like not what the weapon does.

There was once a day when particular media outlets were so dominant that they could essentially make the rules on who they permitted to appear with them whether in print, on the radio, or on TV. Those days are long gone, of course. So, why does CNBC still think it has the power to demand that guests appear solely on its network? And, in so doing is CNBC depriving its viewers of the vital financial information that they need to plan their business days?
