Mark Shea on Dan Savage, head of an anti-bullying organization embraced by The White House who bullied a bunch of Christian teens last week with an anti-bible screed, calling those who walked out on his lecture "pansy-assed". He’s a Big Man. I bet there aren’t many 48 year olds who can humiliate kids less than half his age as well as he can. And this is a Leading and Respected Figure in the American gay community. What do you want to bet there will be deafening silence over this cowardly thug’s behavior?

Talking Heads say invest, invest, invest but critical observation says no, no, no!

For the Talking Heads on CNBC and some of the other business news sources all things point to the same thing...buy stocks! Earnings season is in full swing and it appears that the majority of firms that report are in someway beating the average estimates of the analysts who follow them. To me that would indicate one of two things. Either the analysts, like economists, are really not very good at doing their jobs or else they don't really do the job at all and simply take the guidance the company provides and use that to forecast results...

Let me sum up the situation regarding U.S. policy toward revolutionary Islamism like this. A man threatens, “Surrender or I’ll kill you!” The victim surrenders and then boasts of how he put an end to violence by offering an alternative, peaceful “channel” of expression! Michael Hirsh has responded to my critique of his article. Amazingly, yet typical of our era, he didn’t engage with a single—not a single—idea I presented. It’s clear that Hirsh knows nothing about the Middle East and so is merely arguing based on unsuitable analogies, a lack of knowledge about history, and a blind faith in “experts”

We’ve got a federal debt problem, and our political leaders are not taking it seriously. Granted, Paul Ryan was ready to step up and give us a budget that will eventually get us back on the path to fiscal solvency, but even his suggestions were promptly scorched by our president, whose own budget proposal was such an excellent idea that it got rejected unanimously by the Democrat controlled Senate. One of the biggest problems with getting any kind of spending reforms in Washington is that to most people the federal debt is some distant issue, or worse, something that can

The following are excerpts from Dr. Paul L. Maier's book, "The Da Vinci Code: Fact or Fiction?" Foreword by Hank Hanegraaff:

"Why is The Passion excoriated and The Da Vinci Code extolled? Why are Gibson’s motives denounced and Brown’s dignified? Why is Christ’s passion referred to as a “repulsive, masochistic fantasy” and his supposed marriage to Mary Magdalene touted as a researched material fact? The answer may surprise you.

Mark Steyn is unmasking the idiot memes we're told are important by Obama's supporters: A couple of days ago, Obama campaign top dog David Axelrod threw in the towel on the dog war. "I thought it was a little absurd to talk about what the President had done as a 10-year-old boy," he sniffed to MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell, which is as near as the suddenly sheepish attack dog will ever get to conceding that Barack Obama is the first dog-eating president in the history of the Republic. In the notorious tradition of Nixon’s Enemies List, Obama is now openly persecuting patriots at every opportunity. He tries to shame them, taint them, marginalize them and if all that doesn’t work, he sends goons after them and either imprisons them or threatens them with imprisonment. He’s using every agency at his disposal, with a special emphasis on the EPA, FDA, IRS, SEC, ATF and Fish and Wildlife authorities. And he has hired a whole governmental ‘army’ to enforce his dictates and go after his enemies. Welcome to the American Stasi. We have watched how Obama smears those who would dare

A month short of two years ago my friend Rabbi David Nesenoff sent me a video which contained a short explosive interview he had conducted with Helen Thomas. There on tape the veteran White House correspondent gave a statement that many people (including me) saw as telling the Jews to go face another Holocaust. He asked me if there was anything to do with the video. He had already offered it to the mainstream media and even The Jewish Week, a weekly newspaper with a progressive tilt. I helped it dominate the headlines of the same media who deemed the

I am inclined to want to see the actual transcripts of this exchange between HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Representative Trey Gowdy (R–SC) at a hearing this past Thursday. It’s not that I don’t “believe” CNA in its coverage, but, I guess I just need to verify its completeness and accuracy for myself. Why? Because it is staggering to comprehend that the vast and discretionary powers conferred upon by “the secretary” by the Affordable Care Act are to be wielded by a woman displaying so little familiarity with or curiosity about the Constitution of her country. Does she seem a little

Earlier in the week a video surfaced on Youtube of Al Armendariz, head of the EPA office in Dallas, saying that he and his agency planned to "crucify" any business that crosses them. The video caused a lot of consternation on Capitol Hill as well as recriminations for the EPA. But by Friday the video had been pulled by Youtube because of complaints from the man that originally made the video. Turns out he's an extreme environut connected with the gay community.

The Tea Party and Libertarians have been fighting Crony Capitalism for at least 3 years now. Some even longer. It’s not that Tea Party/Libertarian leaning people want others to be taxed at a higher rate or be regulated out of existence. It’s the influence of Crony Capitalism on policy and uses of elected officials to gain advantages single voters have no chance of getting that is the difference. Let us face facts, who is a politician going to be most influenced by:
