Hundreds of OWS training workshops took place this month throughout the country, in all 50 states, including small rural areas. Inside one of the training workshops, attendees report that OWS is “specifically instructed to go to any and all Tea Party gatherings, rallies, etc., to be confrontational and create havoc and disruption.” They are being trained to recruit and enlarge their numbers in their assigned geographic locations, to use the correct messaging, to incite any opponents, engage in confrontation, employ tactics to evade police blockades and create gridlock. OWS workshops are extremely organized and clearly well funded. Each workshop had a trainer,

Putting to rest a foolish idea about reinstating the draft

The Left periodically floats the idea of reinstating the draft. They dress it up in an “everyone should share the burden” argument, but it’s pretty clear that the goal is to create a Vietnam War dynamic, in which young people take to the streets to protest a war, not because they know anything about the war, but because they don’t want to be drafted to fight the war. I have thought that the draft would be a good idea for one reason and one reason only: I would love to see the Paris Hiltons and Kim Kardashians of this world

President Obama's Lobbyist Lies

Remember those idyllic days of the 2008 campaign. Then Senator Barack Obama promised us that he wouldn't hire a single lobbyist to work in his White House. In a way he was right, he didn't hire a single lobbyist, he hired dozens. It turns out over 100 current or former lobbyists have found jobs in his administration. The American people have taken notice to President Obama's hypocrisy: 67% in the CBS/NYT poll said that there has been no real change for the better to how things are done in Washington. Nothing like "Change We Can('t) Believe In."

According to the campaign rhetoric of Barack Obama it's the greed of the "folks" on Wall Street that represents a clear and present danger to the economic well being of the United States! Why else would the President be proposing government regulation of the crude oil market to try and "protect" Americans from the way that free markets work...

The Obama Administration's 15 Scandalous "Achievements"

Sometimes I think my conservative compatriots go a bit too far. They say that the three-year-old Obama administration is totally void of achievement. That is total nonsense; in three short years Barack Obama has increased the national debt by $5 trillion dollars, that's more than George Bush did in eight years and almost as much as every president from Washington-Clinton combined. I don't want to give you the impression that Obama's only achievement was the record increase in debt, but the man who promised change Washington D.C. can also count some scandals

Iran + UN: The Incorrectly Included Datum

There is a data analysis discipline used in business settings and other operational applications that classifies inconsistencies, discrepancies and departures from the operational or situational ideal. Examples of such inconsistencies are things such as undated reports, event descriptions which alter the sequence of events and reports that distort the importance of one thing relative to others in its context. One of the harder ones to spot is the omitted datum – information that ought to be there that isn’t. This classification has a corollary: the incorrectly included datum, information that shouldn’t be there, but nonetheless is. Like UN vehicles in an

Hidden Secrets of the "Soft-Core" Obama Supporters

It’s really interesting when I talk to Obama supporters who are soft-core, meaning they are open to discussion and not completely closed-minded or ideologically set in granite. There are several themes that constantly recur in such conversations, though one rarely or never sees these points in print. Of course, these people get their information from the mainstream media, which protects the administration and repackages its talking points while largely censoring out critical responses and the failures or scandals. But there are also some important assumptions they are making on their own.

The Marin County Republican Party, which last year hosted the late, great Andrew Breitbart, was able to entice John Stossel to come visit as part of his book tour for No, They Can’t: Why Government Fails-But Individuals Succeed. To no one’s surprise, during his half hour talk (followed by a Q&A session) John Stossel made compelling arguments in favor of smaller government. My favorite was his OSHA riff. Mr. Stossel put up a graph showing that,

Moving right along from the sanctified, awe-inspiring ”O” to simply “LOL!” Destroying America is no joke, but if totally justified ridicule is the answer to vaporizing the Obama Fantasy, let the good times roll. Recovering our country might as well be fun too. Icing on the cake would be for Bo to find a nice home once the Obamas are out of the White House and his usefulness as a prop is nil.
