Consider some of the statements made by Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and the world community regarding the "punitive' actions that the U.S. plans to take against North Korea!
"THE United States and Group of Eight has warned that North Korea's defiance of its requests not to launch a rocket would lead to action at the UN Security Council..." (Source)...

Back on April 2 (just 10 days ago) we warned you that the Obama campaign was concerned about the appeal and credibility of Ann Romney.
Here's part of what we said:
Obama Co. fear that Ann Romney could become a real factor in the upcoming presidential campaign.
They're worried about Ann Romney
And one of the reasons they're worried is that

From the succinct and erudite Larry Elder:
"Students are immersed in an education that emphasizes the wrongs done to minorities, women, gays and other groups. Gender, ethnic, religious and sexual orientation grievances are highlighted as representative of an imperial, racist, exploitative capitalist superpower that continues to engage in widespread racism, sexism, homophobia and worldwide domination.

Andrew Malcolm is wondering what happened to the 2008 Obama:
Has anyone seen Barack Obama recently?
You know, the optimistic hopeful fellow with the charming smile who promised so many positive things four and five years ago, how he was going to change the harsh, partisan tone of our nation's capital and bring the country together as its first African American president...

Despite international warnings, North Korea's loopy Communist regime fired off an intercontinental rocket early this morning, local time.
The launch went great.
The flight not so good.

Success can be found along many different paths! Why a college sheepskin may not be for everyone!
With the cost of a college education soaring beyond the reach of many Americans, is chasing a four-year advanced education actually worth the financial pain that goes along with it?
It's been discussed at TPC before that the answer to this question may depend to a large degree on the actual degree is that a student is going to be receiving...

Welcome to this weeks edition of the Watcher's Council, dedicated to the Obama administration and U.N. Security Council who are both willing to give rogue nations and terrorists the benefit of the doubt.
Unfortunately in the case of North Korea that stance didn't work out very well as that country conducted its promised missile launch...

Mark Shea brings us to events taking place in Britain:
Whipped Christians, timid about the appearing "judgmental", often capitulate to this sort of draconian post-Christian appeal to "judge not, lest ye be judged" and back down. However, as this video demonstrates, some Britons are beginning to get a little taste of what happens when watery post-Christian secularism, accustomed to bullying meek Christians, meets inflamed and diseased Islam...

President Barack Obama will wear a Cuban-style "guayabera" shirt made for him by a Colombian designer at an upcoming Americas summit in Cartagena, Colombia April 14-15. –News Item
This guy just doesn’t seem to get it. He’s supposed to be America’s leader, not an ersatz South American, friend of the Franks, roommate of the Russians, soul-mate of the Muslims, etc.
But I do think all of this behavior reveals something of the inner Obama.

What seems clear to me about this, and I'll allow that I could be as wrong as I could be right, is that the mother's initial words were heartfelt, her initial words came from a place deep in her soul, her initial words may very well have been a healing balm of sorts for many... and then her race-pimping, race-baiting, agenda driven handlers stepped in... and she was led to retract her statement...

As James Carville once said, "it's the economy stupid!" and according to a just-released Rasmussen poll American voters trust Mitt Romney by a wide 49%-39% margin. In fact Romney topped Obama in four of the five issues;economy, health care, taxes, and (just barely energy policy). Obama leads in national security.
The last time Rasmussen asked the question (March), the American Public felt the economy was the number one issue, 20% higher than number two (health care).

“”If you don’t have a record to run on, then you paint your opponent as someone people should run from….You make a big election about small things,” ” – Barack Obama 08/28/08
Obama uttered these words just a few short years ago. It was supposedly a charge against politics as usual.
Now, he is following the politics as usual playbook to a tee.
And as he continues on his “anything but my record” tour he had the gall to say Ronald Reagan would be FOR the Buffet Rule:

The Anchoress is weighing in on the Hilary Rosen/Ann Romney kerfluffle and she's pointing out relevant things:
There is irony in Rosen sneering that Ann Romney knows nothing about working women, while she, Rosen, supports an administration that pays its female employees less than men. But I digress.
Rosen seems to truly not get why people, especially women (both working and at-home) took offense at this...

It seems lobbyist and Dem operative Hilary Rosen had gone on CNN last night and spoken unwisely not once, but twice, first declaring that the Democrat party had never, in any way, ever said that the GOP had declared a “war on women”, and that the GOP had just made that up (a statement so patently and demonstrably dishonest that I couldn’t stop myself from asking Rosen, “no, really, you said that? You really did?”).

Much was made of Governor Sarah Palin's use of the term "government death panels" to lambaste Obamacare. Left-wingers and Democrats everywhere scoffed at the term and accused Palin of demagogy and even lying. But the fact is, government death panels of all sorts are inevitable once government takes over healthcare. In fact, once government takes over healthcare, all sorts of unscientific, non-health related nonsense creeps into your healthcare whether you like it or not and none of these decisions are made with your doctor's advice or consent.

Not only does AC laugh like a 5th grader over the name of the "pussy willow" shrub, but he goes on to call the Polish Dyngus Day celebration "stupid"...
