During a campaign stop a woman shouted to Hillary in Spanish. Pretending to understand as any pandering and disingenuous politician might, Hillary cackled and gave the woman a big thumbs-up. The actual message, however, was likely not what she was looking for! Watch at The Political Commentator here.

I’ve got several very moving images here but, before I dive into them, I want to make sure you read the story of Army Sergeant James John Regan, the man whose life and death led to this picture, one so moving that it has appeared repeatedly on social media every Memorial Day since his death in 2007: (View images)

As we prepare to celebrate Memorial Day to pause in thanks for the sacrifices made by millions of Americans who died while fighting to preserve freedom, a documentary called "These Hallowed Grounds" reminds us that our war dead are not just interred here at home, but are spread across the world on battlefields almost lost to the memory of far too many of us.

A few years after the Civil War as the nation started upon its long road toward reconciliation, rebuilding, and healing the wife of one of the war´s union generals noticed the touching devotion of Confederate widows, wives and their children as each year they came together to place flowers and little flags at the graves of their fallen. Mary Simmerson Cunningham Logan was so moved by the devotion she witnessed that she urged her husband, Illinois General John A. "Blackjack" Logan, to look into creating what was to become Memorial Day.

To honor our troops for this year, I am going to share this story about their mettle. What follows are excerpts from remarks by Marine Lt. Gen. John F. Kelly made to the Semper Fi Society of St. Louis on November 13, 2010. While leading his platoon on a combat patrol, Kelly’s son, Marine 1st Lt. Robert Michael Kelly, had been killed in action four days earlier in Sangin, in southern Afghanistan. Lt. Kelly was only 29-years-old...

No question, the deterioration of modern society is a subjective thing. What some consider problematic, others cheer. What some see as economic stagnation, others call “recovery summer.” But some things are, or at least should be, beyond refute. They aren’t, not anymore.

When my teenage son realized that Monday isn’t just a school holiday but is, in fact, a national holiday honoring the men and women who have died serving our country, he made an interesting comment about those who died. “It’s hard to appreciate that they’re real people because you never know who they are.” Think about that: Despite the fact that our country has been actively at war for three-quarters of his life, my son has never known someone who died while fighting on America’s behalf, nor has he ever met someone who lost a loved one to war. It’s already old news that DePaul’s resident fascists (aka students and their adult trainers) shouted Milo Yiannopoulos off the stage. Campus security refused to step in to protect an invited speaker. Worse, when the story inevitably went public, the university’s insane faculty doubled down on the type of vicious fascist censorship that Hitler’s Brownshirts would readily have recognized. But there is push back. Just check out DePaul’s review page on Facebook. For those who don’t want to bother, here’s the summary version as of May 29, 2016: (Read more)

Speaking in San Francisco Thursday, Hillary Clinton told supporters that Donald Trump is not fit to be president. “He roots for himself,” the former Secretary of State proclaimed, “and that’s the type of person who should not be president of the United States.” By that standard, Clinton herself has no business running to win the White House.

There has been a lot of ink spilled about the stupidity of being politically correct (also known as "PC") and while it is without question many leftist purveyors of this concept imagine they are doing Gia´s work by pushing PCism, the plain fact is it is dangerous thinking and, even worse, illogical and stupid. And Canada´s left-wing Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, gives us the umpteenth reason why you should hate liberals and their idiocy.

I haven’t forgotten that tomorrow is Memorial Day but today is still just another Sunday — laundry, bills, and blogging. The first two are done, so it’s blogging time. America’s real class divide. I had a very interesting lunch the other day with Thomas Lifson (founder of American Thinker) and one of his contributors, who craves anonymity, so I’ll call her Meg. Inevitably, of course, the conversation turned to Trump. Thomas and I are both people who have made our peace with Trump’s candidacy, although he was not our first choice. I think of us as strong #NeverHillary types, with a

During Bill Clinton’s tenure in the White House a “glitch” (or person) turned off the automatic email archiving system causing the loss of of around one million emails. The missing emails just “happened” to occur at the same time as the Kenneth Starr was subpoenaing emails for the Monica Lewinsky scandal and congress was asking for emails because they were investigating the “Filegate” scandal. The emails lost just “happened” to be from the accounts of President Clinton and other who were being investigated in the above scandals and the people who discovered the missing emails were threatened with jail if

As we kick off the summer of 2016 the world remains terrorized - by Islamo-fascists, global warmists and now…mosquitos. Islamic fascists live in the firm grasp of a seventh century religious cult even as their beliefs intersect with the modern era, putting the worst of both worlds within their grasp. Or, as George Carlin put it, “ancient hatreds and modern weapons, my kind of show man!” (SNIP) Global warmists, in one of the richest ironies of our time, reject actual scientific methodology in favor of bogus anecdotal data which - as it turns out - isn’t even anecdotal, it’s…

On the even of Memorial Day when we take a moment in our busy lives to remember the sacrifice made by millions of soldiers who lost their lives in war since our nation was founded, President Obama went on another apology tour, this time to grovel in front of the Japanese in abject despair for dropping the atomic bomb on them during WWII. Sadly, too many Americans are just as foolish as he if the results of a new poll are any indication. It is all proof that the U.S. is losing its grip on reality

Suddenly Bernie wants to keep his opinions to himself? In order to focus on running for President of the United States where, I guess, we are to assume that a candidate’s opinions are irrelevant.
